To foster improved civic pride, establish and maintain a positive community spirit and celebrate the independence of the United States of America, the Corporation will, in cooperation with established community service organizations (Barrington Lions Club, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Club and Junior Women's Club) during the week preceding each July Fourth, coordinate in the greater Barrington area a variety of activities and programs to provide family entertainment and raise necessary charitable funds to better the Barrington Community.
The 27th Annual Barrington 4th of July Celebration is hosted by the Barrington Area Fourth of July Celebration Committee, Inc. (1984). The Committee is comprised by 5 Barrington area service organizations:
